How does the 49ers-Dolphins trade affect the Denver Broncos?

Image
Friday morning, Adam Schefter broke the news that the San Francisco 49ers would be making a trade with the Miami Dolphins to acquire the third pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, likely for a quarterback. In doing so, they have leapfrogged several teams with similar needs, including the Denver Broncos. At this point, it appears the top three teams in the NFL Draft have solidified their position and will not be moving and the speculation is that they are all hungry for quarterbacks. The Trevor Lawrence to Jacksonville talk seems legitimate, and after Zach Wilson’s pro day on Friday, he appears to be the favorite to land with the Jets at pick No. 2. If this is what acually transpires on April 29th, it would leave the Broncos in an interesting conundrum if they have their sights set on a passer. What we don’t know is, who Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers personnel love so much that they would go full Oprah, and start giving away picks like it was one of her “Favorite Things” episodes. “You get a f...

Two people dead and at least eight injured in Virginia Beach oceanfront shootings

Image
Two people were killed and at least eight people injured after shootings near the oceanfront in Virginia Beach police said Saturday. Police found at least eight victims at the crime scene when they arrived shortly after 11 p.m. Friday, Virginia Beach Police Chief Paul Neudigate said. While police were investigating, shots were fired about a block away, resulting in "an individual being confronted by a uniform Virginia Beach police officer," Neudigate said. The officer shot and killed the person in what the chief described as a "police intervention shooting." A second person was killed in a separate nearby shooting, Neudigate said. He said police do not believe it was related to the first two shootings. In addition, an officer was hit by a car and taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. "What you can see is we have a very chaotic incident, a very chaotic night on the beach. Many different crime scenes," Neudigate said. No arr...

Uber Attack Suspect Arrested In Las Vegas; Other Says She’ll Surrender

Image
A woman wanted for allegedly assaulting a ride-share driver in San Francisco during a dispute over wearing a mask this week was arrested in Las Vegas Thursday. Malaysia King and Arna Kimiai coughed on their San Francisco driver and pepper-sprayed him after he stopped their ride for refusing to wear a mask, police said. A suspect in what police called a “callous” attack on an Uber driver in San Francisco has been arrested in Las Vegas. Malaysia King, 24, was apprehended on assault charges by Las Vegas police on Thursday. A fellow passenger, Arna Kimiai, 24, said through her lawyer that she would turn herself in, according to the San Francisco Police Department . The two were among three riders who drew national scorn for Sunday’s alleged assault that was captured on video by driver Subhakar Khadka, a 32-year-old from Nepal who said the passengers screamed racist slurs at him. Khadka refused to drive the women further after he noticed one wasn’t wearing a mask. The confrontation boi...

Gov. Cuomo’s top lawyer Kumiki Gibson departs administration

Image
From  NYPOST.COM ALBANY — Governor Andrew Cuomo’s top lawyer is leaving after less than two years on the job, the latest resignation in a wave of departures from the administration besieged by dueling scandals involving nursing homes and sexual harassment allegations. Kumiki Gibson has served as Counsel to the Governor, Cuomo’s chief lawyer, since Sept. 2019, but she will be leaving the administration this Friday for a job in the non-profit sector, according to the governor’s office. “I informed the Executive Chamber a month ago that I planned to leave State service and have accepted a position at a nationally prominent not-for-profit organization,” Gibson said in a statement. “It has been an honor and privilege to work for the Governor and the people of the State of New York. I remain deeply impressed with the talent and dedication of my legal team and will forever be grateful for having the opportunity to serve New Yorkers.” Gibson worked in the private sector as a labor and civi...

Hunter Biden Probe ‘Active And Ongoing’ Without White House Interference: Report

Image
The federal investigation into Hunter Biden’s “tax affairs” is reportedly “active and ongoing.” The sources told Fox News that the investigation, which is being run out of the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware, is being taken “seriously.” Fox News also reported that the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware “has not heard from the White House” or the Joe Biden’s nominee for attorney general, Judge Merrick Garland. However, we all know the swamp runs deep. Late last year, Hunter Biden hired a criminal defense attorney to defend him in the ongoing federal criminal investigation into his business deals. On the same exact day that Biden was sworn into office, Biden hired a close colleague of Hunter Biden’s lawyer to oversee the Department of Justice’s Criminal Division. Here’s the cherry on top: the lawyer Joe Biden picked to lead the DOJ criminal division just so happen to be investigating Hunter Biden. The bombshell news was reported last week by Fox News host Tucker Carlson. “In one ...

Senate Parliamentarian Blocks Pelosi From Putting $140 Million In Funding For Rail Project In Her District Into COVID Bill

Image
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suffered a big loss when the U.S. Senate rejected and removed a rail project near San Francisco from the relief bill. The Senate parliamentarian ruled the $140 million for the project wasn’t allowed under the so-called Byrd rule, which both parties use to pass budget bills without needing 60 votes in the Senate. “This is a wildly expensive proposal largely unrelated to the problem. About 9 percent of the money is in the health care space. Less than 1 percent of it deals with vaccinations,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said. “We’ll be fighting this in every way that we can. It is my hope that at the end, Senate Republicans will unanimously oppose it,” McConnell added. “This package should have been negotiated on a bipartisan basis like the last five bills were done. Instead, the new administration made a conscious decision to jam us, to do it one party only, to take advantage of the reconciliation process to try to achieve a whole lot of other i...

Kayleigh McEnany Lands Brand New Political Commentary Gig

Image
Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany will officially join Fox News as a contributor. During a segment on “Outnumbered,” host Harris Faulkner announced that McEnany would be joining the network. Faulkner did not specify what McEnany’s role will be at the company. “It is my distinct pleasure to welcome Kayleigh McEnany to the Fox family,” Faulkner said. “We will be seeing much more of her.” WATCH: McEnany also discussed her relationship with Press Secretary Jen Psaki. “I wish her all the best. I left her a note saying that much, we’ve met previously, one time, and she was very kind,” McEnany said. “So were some of her colleagues in the press shop and I left her a note, I wish her the best.” McEnany explained the difference in the way the mainstream media treats Psaki compared to its handling of the Trump administration. “I’ll never forget watching one of the early press briefings where she was asked about Antifa riots and I believe she said that she hadn’t spoken to th...

Donald Trump’s First Endorsements are Coming in – And One is Proving to Be Very Controversial

Image
Fresh off a CPAC speech that rocked the house and a promise that his work was far from being over , we are seeing a new political endorsement under Donald Trump’s “America First” agenda. On Thursday, Donald Trump had endorsed Kansas Senator Jerry Moran. “Former President Donald Trump has endorsed Kansas Sen. Jerry Moran for reelection in 2022, early backing that makes it unlikely the two-term Republican will face a serious challenge in the GOP primary,” the AP reported . Interestingly, we also now know an endorsement Donald Trump didn’t make: Former state GOP chair Jane Timken for Ohio’s 2022 U.S. Senate race. But the controversial endorsement that Donald Trump did make today: Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina. Although Scott is a strong conservative, many Trump supporters seemed unhappy about the endorsement. Robert Barnes believes the decision is a poor one due to his advisers. Personally, I believe Tim Scott is a solid conservative and an excellent spokesperson for the Republican ...
